Vintage Persian Runner Rug

This beautiful, highly detailed runner rug was handwoven in Hamedan and features an intricate repeat pattern design. Woven on a red field in accents of brown, blue, green and cream. This design is then enclosed by a repeat pattern border that draws the eye in. This stunning wool rug is suitable for both modern and traditional interiors. Handmade with the finest hand-spun wool and cotton, which was dyed using organic vegetable dyes. Intricate hand-knotted designs tell stories through design and colour. Suitable for use as a hallway, entranceway, or kitchen runner rug. In excellent condition, ready for use. Hand woven in persia Circa 1950.
