New Traditional Afghan Kazak Rug

A beautiful new traditional Afghan Kazak rug, featuring a traditional tribal medallion design woven in accents of beige and blue, through the centre on a red background. The design is then finished with a highly-detailed repeat pattern border that encloses the central design in a contrasting ivory tone. Kazak Rugs are known for their vibrant colours and geometric patterns and designs, influenced by the Caucasian designs of northern Persia. This beautiful rug was handwoven in a workshops in Afghanistan. Only the finest hand spun wool and cotton have been used in the construction of this rug, dyed using a traditional organic vegetable dying methods.
