A fine example of a vintage persian runner rug. Handwoven in Hamedan this rug features a repeat diamond pattern through the centre intricately wocen with geometric patterns throughout. Various colours have neen used including pink, purple, grey and beige to make up the highly-detailed design. This stunning wool rug is suitable for both modern and traditional interiors. Handmade with the finest hand-spun wool and cotton, which was dyed using organic vegetable dyes. Intricate hand-knotted designs tell stories through design and colour. Suitable for use as a hallway, entranceway, or kitchen runner rug. In excellent condition, ready for use. Hand woven in persia Circa 1950.
