Vintage Persian Runner Rug

This fine vintage rug was hanwoven in Hamedan, iran. The design features a beautiful central medallion and a fine repeat pattern, outer design that runs to the border. This design has been woven in accents of grey, ivory and cream on a pinky-red background. This stunning wool rug is suitable for both modern and traditional interiors. Handmade with the finest hand-spun wool and cotton, which was dyed using organic vegetable dyes. Intricate hand-knotted designs tell stories through design and colour. Suitable for use as a hallway, entranceway, or kitchen runner rug. In excellent condition, ready for use. Hand woven in persia Circa 1960.
