Vintage Persian Kermem Rug

This outstanding antique Persian Kerman Rug was woven in the 1900s and reveals a classic central medallion design inspired by the great area of Persian court carpets. It has a very amazing star medallion and corner design woven with the highest level of detail. The central design sits on a large red field the open space adds depth and gives the illusion of open space when introduced to a room.

Constructed with hand-spun wool which has been dyed with organic dyeing techniques, used for generations. Woven on looms by master weavers with traditional hand-knotting techniques that make this piece durable and so suitable for any high traffic area.
