Vintage Karakashli Caucasian Rug

Bright colours have been used to construct this large, vintage area rug. Blues and reds make up the intricately woven traditional tribal designs woven on a cream background. This has then been framed with a multi-layered floral and geometric border which encompasses the central design. The centre features three beautiful geometric motifs which are surrounded by various animal and floral designs. Both the colour and design in this fine wool rug make it the perfect accent piece for any room. 

This traditional carpet was handmade in the 1940s using Hand-spun wool and cotton, which was dyed using organic vegetable dyes. Perfect for any contemporary or traditional interior, suitable for use as a bedroom rug, home office rug or even large entry-way rug.

This elegant tribal wool rug is in excellent condition, clean and ready for use in any home.
