This kelim or kilim rug has been handmade in the North of Afghanistan by Uzbek and Turkman tribes by using local wool and cotton. The quality of the carpet is enhanced by the use of organic dyes. The kelim shows a tribal design deriving from the Qashqai tribes of Iran. The main colours are rust, yellow, red, white, light blue.
