The design is then finished with a highly-detailed repeat pattern border that encloses the central design. Kazak Rugs are known for their vibrant colours and geometric patterns and designs, influenced by the Caucasian designs of northern Persia. This beautiful rug was handwoven in a workshops in Afghanistan.
