Antique Persian Kerman Rug

Traditional Oriental patterns and designs have been used in the construction of this high-quality antique rug. Featuring a deep black background with contrasting lighter woven designs. The central design is highly decorative with floral motifs in a symmetrical pattern which ends at the four corners of the encompassing repeat pattern cream border.  Both the colour and design in this wool rug make it the perfect accent rug for any classy or cosy home.

This piece was handwoven in Persia in the 1890s, by local Village weavers with Hand-spun wool which was dyed using vegetable dyeing techniques, used for generations. This traditional carpet is perfect for any traditional interior or contemporary home, suitable for use as a bedroom rug, living room rug or even home office rug.
