Vintage Persian Isfahan Rug

This truly unique Persian Isfahan Rug was constructed with hand-spun wool on looms in Isfahan, in the centre of Iran. The design features a stunning ivory field with a symmetrical design of floral motifs woven in accents of blue, orange and red. The border encloses the central design with an orange background and a highly detailed repeat pattern design. This beautiful wool rug has been intricately hand-knotted and is in excellent condition. Perfect for any modern or traditional home. Suitable for use as a bedroom rug, living room rug, or dining room rug. Isfahan is a city in central Iran, known for its beautifully hand-knotted rugs. Their unique design and colour combinations make them extremely desirable. This rug was woven in Persia by master weavers circa 1960.
