Antique Karabagh rug, Caucasia

This traditional Caucasian Shirvan rug was handwoven in Azerbaijan with the finest hand-spun wool. Featuring a floral central design and repeat pattern border. Pink, green and red colours create beautiful bouquets, woven on a grey-brown background.
Only the finest hand-spun wool and cotton have been used, dyed using organic vegetable dying techniques. Handwoven by masterweavers circa 1990 in Azerbaijan.
