Antique Caucasian Carpet Runner

This fine Caucasian runner rug was handwoven in Azerbaijan circa 1900. Constructed with the finest hand spun wool and cotton foundation. The intricate design features three central medallions woven in ivory and red on a beige background. Intricate motfs meander within the medallions and throughout the border, adding detail and depth. This fantastic antique runner rug is perfect for use as an entranceway runner, kitchen runner or hallway runner rug. Suitable for both modern and traditional home interiors. This peice is in beautiful condition with a fine wool pile and colours that looks as though they where dyed yesterday.
