Vintage Persian Runner Rug

This beautiful blue vintage rug was handwoven in Ardabil. The Medallions that run throughthe centre have intricate details woven in colours that contrast agaisnt the blue field, including beige, red, ivory and orange. This central design is then enclosed with a repeat pattern border woven with the same accent colours. This stunning wool rug is suitable for both modern and traditional interiors. Handmade with the finest hand-spun wool and cotton, which was dyed using organic vegetable dyes. Intricate hand-knotted designs tell stories through design and colour. Suitable for use as a hallway, entranceway, or kitchen runner rug. In excellent condition, ready for use. Hand woven in persia Circa 1950.
