This fine wool rug is handwoven in Persia, by the Baluch constructed in the 1900s. The Baloch or Baluch are Iranians who live mainly in the Balochistan region, located at the southeasternmost edge of the Iranian Plateau, encompassing the countries of Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. The central design has been woven with the finest organic materials including hand-spun wool and cotton, dyed with organic vegetable dyeing techniques which have been used for generations.
This vintage rug is in great condition, ready for use in any home.
