This is a fantastic example of a traditional Vintage Bokhara Runner Rug. Handwoven in Pakistan this wool rug features a fantastic rich red background and is decorated with the traditional circular medallions known to the Bokhara rug, woven in gold and beige colourways. The symmetrical design is then enclosed by a highly-detailed repeat-pattern border that draws the eye in. This stunning wool rug is suitable for both modern and traditional interiors. Handmade with the finest hand-spun wool and cotton, which was dyed using organic vegetable dyes. Intricate hand-knotted designs tell stories through design and colour. Suitable for use as a hallway, entranceway, or kitchen runner rug. In excellent condition, ready for use. Hand woven in persia Circa 2000.
