Vintage Moldovian Kilim Rug

This fine wool rug was woven by hand in Moldavia in the 1980s. The design has been woven on a cream background with a repeat all over central design, woven with repeating floral motifs woven in brown, beige and light blue accents. This has then been framed by a bold yellow border with a repeating pattern. This fine wool kilim is in excellent condition, clean and ready for use in any room. Woven with fine, organic materials such as hand-spun wool which has been dyed with organic dyeing techniques used for generations. This piece is suitable for use as a bedroom rug, living room rug or dining rug. The design, colour palette and construction of this piece make it the perfect accent piece.
