Antique Persian Shirvan Rug

This traditional Caucasian Shirvan rug was handwoven in Azerbaijan with the finest hand spun wool. Featuring a geometric central design and repeat pattern border. Red, blue and yellow accents have been woven on the geometric central medallion design on a fresh ivory background.
Only the finest hand-spun wool and cotton have been used, dyed using organic vegetable dying techniques. This rug was handwoven in Azerbaijan by the Shirvan people. The Shirvan nomads are found in the North West of Iran. Their traditional designs are beautiful in both colour and design.
